Little Lewis Kennel

 Each stay includes personalized feeding schedules, early‑morning potty breaks, several potty breaks throughout the day, and extended outdoor time in the afternoon in our large yards. We also provide a final potty break late in the evening, just before bedtime, so dogs can settle in comfortably. Nothing is rushed — every dog moves at their own pace. 

We offer a small, homey setting with individualized attention and no upcharges; all comfort, care, and cuddles are included. 

We keep a calm, home‑like environment for dogs who are at ease being kenneled and who are comfortable being with other dogs.

Little Lewis Kennel may not be the right fit for dogs who show severe stress, reactivity, aggression, or behaviors like chewing or biting at kennel walls, gates, or fixtures.  Dogs who have trouble with excessive barking or who aren’t comfortable with basic handling may have a harder time settling in here. 

 If your dog is having too much of a hard time adjusting, is at risk of harming itself, or is disrupting other guests and causing them to become anxious, we may contact you or your emergency contact to come retrieve your pup. Our priority is a safe, peaceful experience for every dog who stays with us here at Little Lewis Kennel. 

Enjoy our dog care services with the following rates for pet boarding: 

1 room, 1 dog, per night $40  

1 room, 2 dogs, per night $60  

1 room, 3 dogs, per night $75  

2 rooms, 1 dog in each room, per night $80  

For those requiring additional space in our dog kennel, it’s $15 per additional dog after 2 dogs (staying in the same room).

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations before boarding:

• Rabies

• Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Please allow 15 days after any vaccination before boarding to ensure your dog feels their best during their stay.

Vaccination records may be sent by screenshot or email, as long as all information is clear and readable.

When booking a reservation, please provide your drop-off and pick-up times (AM or PM), an emergency contact, your veterinarian’s contact information, and your email address to receive our waiver. 

At Little Lewis Kennel, we keep your pup comfortable with clean bowls for food and water throughout their stay. Please bring your dog’s food clearly labeled with their name, feeding instructions, and daily quantity.

We do not charge extra for medications; bring them in the original packaging with clear written instructions so we can administer them safely.

Bedding is available upon request, and you’re welcome to bring your own.

Because this is our private residence and we have many dogs and children, all visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please refrain from making unannounced visits.

We are closed for drop-offs and pick-ups on Wednesdays and also on the following holidays: Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
